Nicole Scherzinger (@NicoleScherzy) was inspired by Led Zeppelin for Men In Black 3
Nicole Scherzinger listened to Led Zeppelin to get her in the mood for Men In Black 3.
The singer-and-actress made her big screen debut as antagonist Lily Poison in the sci-fi movie and she found it “inspiring” to tune into “heavier music” to portray the villain.
She told BANG Showbiz: “I listened to my heavier music and I listened to Led Zeppelin and I kind of got in that frame of mind because music is what inspires me most. I worked with my acting coach a lot and she told me about lots of crazy things to think about while I was in character, but I better not tell you what she said.”
Nicole, 33, is hoping the movie will kick-start her acting career, but she found it “fricking scary” having the camera focused on her while she was shooting the film.
She added: “It’s fricking scary being on a film set, it’s much easier to perform in front of a live audience because you feel all that energy. But when you just have a camera on you everything is focusing on you.
“I grew up doing theatre and working a lot on stage and this is the first time being in front of the big screen so hopefully it’s the first of many.”
Nicole starred alongside Will Smith (Agent J), Tommy Lee Jones (Agent K) and Josh Brolin (Young Agent K) in the movie, and she admits her close friend Will was “very inspiring” to be around.
She explained: “I didn’t have any scenes with Will but he’s a close friend and he is one of the most brilliant people that I know, he’s very inspiring to be around. I worked a lot with Jemaine Clement and he’s unbelievable.”

Lewis Hamilton proudly paraded his girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger at the Men In Black 3 premiere but while he gushed about her talents, he wasn’t so positive about her kissing men in movies.
The F1 driver said: “Nicole can definitely do more movies but she isn’t allowed to kiss any men in them.”
He was of course joking as he literally couldn’t stop gushing about his girl, saying: “I’m so proud of her, she’s done really well.”
MIB3 is Nicole’s first foray into acting although this didn’t faze her as she said: “I actually trained in theater so it’s pretty natural for me to act.”
Nicole stole the style show last night clad in a strapless Cengiz Abazoglu dress complete with thigh-high split and scribble detail bodice.
She wore her hair in a high quiff and pinned into place with a bun while her accessories only added to the elegance with platform peep-toe heels and drop earrings.
Nic’s equally as hot boyfriend Lewis looked suitably dapper in a grey suit with matching tie and stud earrings.
We think David and Victoria Beckham should watch their backs, Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton are the hottest celebrity couple around!
